Barsi has not played international cricket for his country since June 2019 but earns call-ups with several first-choice players appearing in The Hundred in England.

Young all-rounder Arnav Jain took his first place in the Netherlands senior team, while Scott Edwards will lead his first full series since the recent retirement of Peter Seelar.

Azam will lead a strong Pakistan team:-

Babar Azam will lead a strong Pakistan team, which will have fast bowling options, including star pacers Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah.

Azam has hinted that Afridi could be used sparingly during the ODI series, with the pacer recovering from a knee injury forced to play in the second Test against Sri Lanka and the Asia Cup later this month fell.

Babar recently said of Afridi, “We have been considering his fitness and health for a long time.”

We want him to play against the Netherlands if he is fit and ready for the Asia Cup.
