Wasim Akram Said, ‘Why has the Referee Come to the Match?

During an interview on a TV channel, Wasim Akram said, ‘Why has the referee come to the match. Saeed has come because of Anwar. He used to sit down after every 100 (centuries). Earlier, when there was a captain’s meeting, both the captain and the referee were present in it. So every referee and captain used to say that Saeed Anwar would not get the runner. Because everyone knew that he used to sit after hitting 100. However, Wasim then apologized to Saeed and said, ‘Sorry Saeed but that was true.’

Anwar used to Become Dangerous in Indo-Pak Match

It was often seen that whenever Pakistan faced India, Saeed Anwar proved to be very dangerous. In ODI cricket, he has scored more than 2000 runs in only 50 matches against India. He has scored 4 centuries and 8 half-centuries against India.

Hit 31 Centuries in Career

Saeed Anwar‘s cricket career was quite spectacular. He represented Pakistan in 55 Tests and 247 ODIs. In 55 ODIs, he scored more than 4000 runs and scored eleven centuries. In the same ODIs, he scored more than 8000 runs, his highest score being 194. He hit a total of 20 centuries in ODIs.
