“We cannot use e-tickets this time. 7-8 centers will be made in advance to get physical tickets, but it will be mandatory to take them. Our plan is that we will first implement e-ticketing in bilateral series and then take it to big tournaments like World Cup. Everything will be announced soon, including the cost of tickets for the World Cup.

Fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium by showing e-tickets

Jai Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, made it clear about the e-ticket system. If fans book online tickets for the World Cup (World Cup 2023), then people will have to go to the selected places of BCCI and get physical. Fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium by showing e-tickets.
