Gujarat now faces Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifier. Gill said they have a formidable bowling attack to deal well with Mahendra Singh Dhoni‘s team at their home ground Chepauk.
Gill said, “I think we have a very good bowling attack to deal with that (Chennai) wicket.” It will be exciting to play Chennai Super Kings in Chennai. Hopefully, we will make it to the finals for the second time in a row.”
Talking about his century, he said, “It is all about getting off to a good start and converting it into a big score. You have to execute your strategy which is very important.
