IPL 2021- Ravindra Jadeja joins Chennai Super Kings camp

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has long been a way from cricket for injury, has joined the Chennai Super Kings camp for the 14th season of the IPL. Recovering from his thumb injuries, Jadeja joined CSK’s camp in Mumbai. Currently, they will be staying quarantine in a hotel in South Mumbai for 7 days.

Jadeja’s left thumb was injured during a Sydney Test match played in January this year. He underwent surgery due to injuries, which is why he is away from cricket.

Even in the home series against England, he could not be a part of the team. Due to this injury, suspicion had also arisen about his participation in the IPL at one time.

Ravindra Jadeja practiced at Bangalore’s National Cricket Academy before joining CSK’s camp in Mumbai.

According to Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Vishwanathan, “Jadeja seems to be in good touch and is confident about playing in his first game.”

Suresh Raina did not play in Dubai, the previous season of IPL was left for personal issues. He joined CSK’s camp for IPL 2021 on 24 March and is currently in Quarantine.

Apart from Raina and Jadeja, all the Indian players have reached the CSK camp and are in Quarantine. The foreign players of this team are yet to be added. Chennai Super Kings have been given for the Brabourne Stadium practice.

In IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings will start their first match against the Delhi capitals from 10 April. The match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium. CSK will play their first 4 consecutive matches will be played at Mumbai.
