Sachin Tendulkar on Mohammad Siraj: Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar told that Royal Challengers Bangalore fast bowler Mohammad Siraj missed his trick by not bowling an outswinger against Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler during Qualifier 2 on Friday.

‘Yashasvi gave Buttler time to survive: –

Chasing 159, Buttler was fully prepared, but came into full swing for his fourth century of IPL 2022 with a four-ball 14 from Siraj, followed by an unbeaten 106 off 60 balls. Playing with Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan secured a place in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Tendulkar said in a video on his YouTube channel on Saturday, “Yashasvi’s explosive start gave Buttler time to settle down. Buttler was batting on 6 after 7 balls. After that, he targeted Siraj as he Knew that the bowlers were not in good form.

I think Siraj missed a move against Butler. He did not bowl outswing against him. He was bowling in-cutter with an angled seam and cross-seam balls.”

Jos Buttler completed his 800 runs in IPL 2022 :-

Buttler entered Qualifier 2 after three centuries in the first half of the tournament, but on Friday, Jos Buttler looked brilliant. The bowlers washed out for another century, which also completed their 800 runs in the tournament. “He also made a good partnership with Sanju Samson when Rajasthan needed it,” he said.

Overall, when Rajasthan scored fifty in 4.3 overs, the match was more or less over. Although Bangalore took two, three wickets, Buttler did not let the match go till the end, before that he gave victory to Rajasthan.

Tendulkar also noted that Rajasthan pacer Prasidh Krishna dismissed batsman Virat Kohli on a bouncing ball and he bowled brilliantly.

He also said that apart from Krishna’s 3/22, left-arm pacer Obed McCoy proved to be the best 3/23 bowler for Rajasthan. Together, the duo managed to pick up several important wickets in the death overs stopping Bangalore’s run-rate.
