IPL 2023 Auction, IPL mock auction today: Before the Indian Premier League 2023 auction, the officials of all the franchises have started reaching Kochi. RR CEO Jake Lush McCrum and RCB analyst Freddy Wilde reached Kochi on Wednesday. And today there will be a franchisee meet and mock auction with the teams.

The D-day is scheduled for 23 December (Friday) in Kochi. The officials of the IPL franchises are also gearing up to get their auction strategy right. The franchises have already retained 163 players from their existing squads.

BCCI has booked two floors of the Grand Hyatt at Bolgatty Island in Kochi for the IPL auction 2023. The mini-auction will run for 7 hours on December 23 with a break of one hour.

The franchises held a meeting with the IPL Governing Council members on 21 December, ahead of the auction day. There will be another set of meetings with the broadcasters on December 22 for the mock auction.
