IPL 2023: Australian player Cameron Green will give his name in the mini-auction of IPL. For IPL 2023, all the IPL franchises are releasing and retaining their players.

Cameron put his name up for the mini-auction:-

The IPL mini-auction of this season is to be held in Kochi on December 23 this year. Meanwhile, Australian all-rounder Cameron Green has given his name for the mini-auction.

Green has also come to start the innings for his team. A power hitter like Green will be eyed by many teams. It is believed that crores are going to be bid on Green in the mini-auction.

Green was not selected by the team management for T20 World Cup 2022. However, after the injury of wicket-keeper batsman Josh English, the selectors gave him a chance.

Before giving Green’s name, Australian ODI and Test captain Pat Cummins has withdrawn his name from the next IPL.

On the other hand, talking about the rest of Australia’s players, T20 captain Aaron Finch is likely to withdraw his name from the IPL 2023 season.

Likely to withdraw his name from IPL 2023 season:-

Also, Australian wicket-keeper batsman Matthew Wade has been retained by last year’s champions Gujarat Titans.

Significantly, all the 10 IPL franchises have been given time till November 15 to release and retain their players.

Apart from the leftover money from the previous edition’s auction and the money of the released players, the franchise has been given Rs 5 crore more.
