IPL 2023: The BCCI gave big punishment to Kohli and Gambhir and Naveen-ul-Haq was not spared either. The match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) (LSG vs RCB) will be played at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium on Monday, 1 May.
Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were fined 100 per cent of their match fees:-
Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have been fined 100 percent of their match fees after the 43rd match of the IPL.

After the match, there was a fight between Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli (Kohli Gmabhir Fight).
The IPL media release read, “Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir for breach of IPL Code of Conduct during Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match. Against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.” A fine of 100 per cent of the match fee will be imposing.
Gambhir has admitted a Level 2 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.”
Tata Indian Premiere at Ekana Cricket Stadium:-
“Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli fined 100 per cent of match fee for breach of IPL Code of Conduct during Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium,” read the release. has been applied.

In fact, after the match, Kohli and Gambhir had an altercation. After which KL Rahul, Amit Mishra, RCB captain Faf du Plessis, and LSG assistant coach Vijay Dahiya had to intervene to restrain the two players. Later Kohli was also seeing talking to LSG captain KL Rahul.

Fined 50 Percent of match fee:-
LSG right-arm pacer Naveen-ul-Haq was also fining 50 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct.
During the customary handshake after the match, Naveen and Kohli had an altercation. Lucknow’s team could not even manage a modest score of 126 runs. And the whole team was reducing to 108 runs in 19.5 overs.
