IPL 2023, Impact Player Rule, when, how will the Impact Player rule apply

1- Under the player rule, the captain will be able to feed the player from outside who was not included in the playing 11 during the toss. He will be able to play in place of any one player (Indian) of the XI. He will be known as an impact player.

2- The captain will have to name the additional 4 players (Indian) along with the name of the playing 11 during the toss. Any one of these 4 players can become an impact.

3- The team will have the freedom to call its impact player in the middle of the match. And can get batting or bowling done.

4- Although there are some rules in this, like the team cannot call the impact after the 14th over of the innings. If he wants to make changes, he can do so before then.

5- The player who is dropped in exchange for the player will not be able to come back for the entire match. He also cannot play as a Substitute Fielder Rules in Cricket.

6- Before making changes in playing 11, the captain has to inform the onfield umpire or the fourth umpire.

7- In any case, if the match is reduced from 20 overs to 10 overs, then the impact player’s rule will end, that is, there will be no change in the playing 11 in this situation.
