Lucknow Supergiantsβ wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran has scored the fastest fifty of IPL 2023 while batting in a blistering fashion. Puran, playing at a strike rate of 340, completed his half-century in just 15 balls.
During this, the Caribbean player hit 3 fours and six sky-high sixes. The 15-ball fifty from Nicholas Pooran βs bat is also the joint second fastest fifty in IPL history. Before Puran, Yusuf Pathan and Sunil Narine have also scored their half-centuries in this league in 15 balls. Yusuf did this feat in the year 2014 and Narine in 2017.

Rahane had this record before Pooran :-
Prior to Pooran in IPL 2023, the record for the fastest half-century this season was held by Chennai Super Kings batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who scored a half-century in 19 balls against Mumbai Indians. Rahane, batting in a stormy manner, played an explosive inning of 61 runs in 27 balls.
Fastest Fifty record in the name of Rahul-Cummins :-
KL Rahul and Pat Cummins hold the record for the fastest fifty in IPL. In the year 2018, KL Rahul scored Fifty in 14 balls while playing against Delhi Capitals. At the same time, Cummins completed his half-century against Mumbai Indians in just 14 balls in the year 2022.
