IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians’ Jofra Archer will be available for the entire season. The BCCI has announced the date and schedule (IPL 2023 Schedule) for the 16th season of the Indian Premier League.
Mumbai Indians suffered a setback ahead of IPL:-
IPL 2023 (IPL 2023) is to be played from 31 March. At the same time, Mumbai Indians had suffered a setback before the IPL.

Because star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was completely ruled out of the season due to his injury.
However, MI are now relieved as England’s star fast bowler Jofra Archer will be available in the team for the entire season.
The ECB has confirmed the full availability of Jofra Archer for IPL 2023 after which Mumbai Indians got some relief.
However, MI had earlier been ruled out of Jasprit Bamurah with an injury, and were worried about Archer’s fitness as well.
Jofra Archer is now fully available for IPL. But the entire responsibility of his workload will be in the hands of the ECB.
An ECB source told Cricbuzz:-
An ECB source told Cricbuzz that “he should be able to play a key role in the IPL and as usual his workload will be managed by his franchise and the ECB.”
Jofra Archer was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8 crore and he could not debut for the team last season due to his injury. However, this time he is all set to make his debut for MI for IPL 2023.
Both IPL and ECB sources have confirmed fast bowler Archer’s availability in IPL 2023.
However, considering Jofra’s past injury record, the ECB will monitor his workload during the tournament.
But it is not yet clear how the English board will manage his workload. Although MI knows very well how many matches he can play.

England Cricket Board confirmed:-
- ECB confirms Jofra Archer’s availability for IPL 2023.
- The English pacer will play the entire season starting March 31.
- However, his workload will be closely monitored by the England Cricket Board.
- Archer recently returned to professional cricket after missing more than 18 months due to injury.
- That return is a big boost for MI who lost Jasprit Bumrah to injury.
