RR vs CSK, Samson praised Dhoni: Rajasthan Royals tasted defeat by 3 runs to Chennai Super Kings in a thrilling match at Chepauk ground. After 15 years, under the captaincy of Sanju Samson, Rajasthan is destined to win on this ground. The victory may have been in the hands of the princely states, but the dream of the domestic fans to see the stormy batting of MS Dhoni also came true.

Mahi scored 32 runs in just 17 balls :-

Mahi fiercely cut Gadar with his batting in Chepauk and hit 32 runs in just 17 balls. Call it Sandeep Sharma’s good luck or CSK’s bad luck, as there was only one big shot between Chennai and victory, which Dhoni failed to hit on the last ball.

Captain Samson gave the credit of victory to the bowlers :-

Sanju praised Dhoni fiercely: –

Sanju Samson praised the stormy batting done by Dhoni in the last two overs. He said, “The last two overs were very tense. I was trying to take the game deep, but when Dhoni is at the crease, you are not safe at all.

You have to respect him for this and we all know what he can do. Nothing works against him (Dhoni).”
