IPL Auction 2024: Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc reacted like this after the record breaking bid

Australian captain Pat Cummins got a boost in IPL Auction 2024 on 19th December. Cummins was bought by Sunriders Hyderabad (SRH) for Rs 20.5 crore. His base price was 2 crores. He is the second most expensive player in IPL history.

Teams like Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai also bid for Cummins but success went to Hyderabad. There is a possibility that Cummins may take command of the Orange Army in the 17th season of IPL. Cummins’s first reaction after joining SRH.

IPL Auction 2024: Pat Cummins shared a video on Instagram :-

SRH shared a video of 30-year-old Cummins on Instagram, in which he said, β€œVery happy to join SRH for the upcoming IPL season. I have heard a lot about the Orange Army. Have played in Hyderabad many times. I am eager to get started.

Good to see another Australian player Travis Head at SRH. I think we will have a lot of fun this season and hopefully get success.” Hyderabad bought the head with a base price of Rs 2 crore for Rs 6 crore 80 lakh.

Starc created a new history by defeating Cummins:-

Cummins briefly held the record of being the most expensive player of IPL after being sold for Rs 20.5 crore. However, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc created a new history by defeating Cummins. Starc has now become the most expensive player in IPL history with Rs 24 crore 75 lakh. He was added by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
