The Indian Premier League season 16 group stage matches will be played till May 21. The last match will be played between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chennaswamy Stadium. After this 2 qualifiers and 1 eliminator match will be played. The top 4 teams in the points table will go to the playoffs. The 1st and 2nd place teams will play Qualifier 1, the winner of which will directly enter the final while the losing team will have to play Qualifier 2. The third and fourth-placed teams will play an eliminator match. The winner of this will go to Qualifier 2 and the journey of the losing team will end. The team that wins Qualifier 2 will be the second finalist.
