Ireland’s 14-man squad for the three-match home ODI series against Bangladesh. Josh Little has been included in Ireland’s full-strength squad for the series.
Ireland qualifies for ODI World Cup:-
IRE has announced the squad for the ODI series against Bangladesh to be played in May. Ireland will have to win this series 3-0 to qualify for the ODI World Cup.

Left-arm seamer Josh Little is currently playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL. He is expected to miss at least three of the upcoming IPL fixtures due to playing for his country.
Lytle will return to the country after the Titans’ match against the Rajasthan Royals on May 5. In order to play against Bangladesh, he will not be able to play matches against Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
IPL will get Rs 4.4 crore:-
Little is offered a central contract by Cricket Ireland but their captain Andy Balbirnie recently admitted that he will get Rs 4.4 crore from his IPL contract.
Whereas it may take him five, six, or even more years to earn that much while playing for Ireland.
He was recently given leave for the Bangladesh tour and the ongoing Test series in Sri Lanka to play in the IPL.
Mustafizur Rahman and Liton Das will miss:-
Mustafizur Rahman (Delhi Capitals) and Liton Das (Kolkata Knight Riders) will also miss around 10 days of the IPL due to their involvement in this series.
He was included in the Bangladesh squad earlier this month. Ireland’s squad also includes Craig Young, who returned from injury for the T20I series in Bangladesh last month.
Barry McCarthy, however, is ruled out with a knee injury. PJ Moore, who made his Test debut for Ireland in Bangladesh last month, has been named captain of the Ireland Wolves team that will play a warm-up match on May 5.
