Punjab won Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the first time, Arshdeep Singh turned the match

The final match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023 was played between Punjab and Baroda teams on 6 November. In this match, Punjab team defeated Baroda by 20 runs in a close match and won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the first time.

Anmolpreet and Arshdeep were the heroes of the match :-

The heroes of Punjab teamโ€™s victory in the match were Anmolpreet Singh and Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets in the last over and changed the entire course of the match. Batting first in this match, Punjab team scored 223 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Baroda team collapsed for 203 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.

Punjab won Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the first time :-

Actually, while batting first, Punjab team (Punjab vs Baroda) had scored 223 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. This was the highest score so far in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final. Anmolpreet Singh and Nehal Wadhera played stormy innings for the Punjab team.

Anmolpreet Singh faced a century of 113 runs in 61 balls, which included 10 fours and 6 sixes. Vadhera played an unbeaten inning of 61 runs on 27 balls. At the same time, captain Sandeep scored 32 runs on 23 balls.

Arshdeep Singhโ€™s bowling changed the entire match :-

In response, Baroda team collapsed for 203 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Baroda team had a bad start. Jyotsil Singh was out after scoring 4 runs on 6 balls. On behalf of the team, Abhimanyu Singh faced 42 balls and scored 61 runs with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes.

For Punjab team, Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets in the last over and changed the entire course of the match.
