KL Rahul: ‘Injuries Are My BFF…,’ Hints At Big Score Before Comeback. The first match of IPL 2024 between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants is happening today at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to bat first.

Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul has been battling injuries for a long time, but is finally returning to the field after several months. Before the match started, he made a big statement about his injuries.

Rahul said, “We would have batted first too, but the pitch looks pretty good. I’m happy to be back on the field and let’s just say injuries and I have become best friends over the last few years. But when you recover from an injury and return, you have this fire in your belly to perform well.”
He was Out Of IPL 2023 Due To A Hamstring Injury:-
It’s true that Rahul has a long history with injuries. He was out of IPL 2023 due to a hamstring injury and Krunal Pandya captained Lucknow for the remaining matches. He also picked up an injury a few months ago during the series against England.

But Rahul is not one to give up. He said, “We’ll be going in with four overseas players – Quinton de Kock, Nicholas Pooran, Marcus Stoinis, and Navdeep Saini. Right now, all our focus is on the match.”
Rahul also added, “I’ve been training hard these past few months and I definitely want to score runs. I want to contribute to the team and get us a win.”
