Krishnappa Gowtham said Bowlers prefer to play under Dhoni
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham on Monday said that the bowlers love to play under Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s leadership because he is known for his strength and his best performance.
“The bowlers like to play under the leadership of Mahi Bhai because he knows the strong side of a bowler and he also knows how to give the best out of him,” K Gowtham told the CSK.
The Karnataka cricketer said that playing under Dhoni’s captaincy was like a dream come true for him. He has also played for Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals before.
He said, “I don’t feel the pressure of any kind of expectations in playing for a champion team like Chennai Super Kings.”
For the IPL 2021, Cheteshwar Pujara and Robin Uthappa, who have been called the new wall of the Indian Test team along with Krishnappa Gowtham, have also started training.
