IPL 2023 Chennai Super Kings won on the last ball
The rain-affected IPL final was played on a reserve day on Monday. Batting first, Gujarat Titans scored a mammoth score of 214 runs.
It rained again in the second innings, due to which the match was stopped for several hours. When the match started, a target of 171 runs was set for CSK in 15 overs.
Rituraj Gaikwad and Devon Conway put on a fine 74-run partnership for the first wicket, both in 39 balls.

It was a good start but both Gaikwad and Conway were dismissed in the same over after which the pressure came on CSK.
Ajinkya Rahane scored 27 runs in 13 balls, Shivam Dubey scored 32 runs in 21 balls and Ambati Rayudu scored 19 runs in 8 balls. MS Dhoni got out on the very first ball.
Ravindra Jadeja played a key role in making CSK the champions by hitting big shots off the last 2 balls. CSK needed 13 runs in the last over to win.
With the first ball dot and only 1-1 runs coming on the next 3 balls, Gujarat seemed to have reached victory. CSK needed 10 runs off the last 2 balls.

Jadeja hit a six on the first ball and a four on the second ball to win Chennai Super Kings in a thrilling match.
