RCB players start training for IPL 2021, Kohli will join soon

IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Players start their training at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research from Tuesday for the upcoming 14th season of the league starting on April 9.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is scheduled to play their first match in IPL 2021 with defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai on April 9. Captain Virat Kohli will join the team on April 1

The team’s training camp includes Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel, Shahbaz Ahmed, Pawan Deshpande, Mohammad Azharuddin, Rajat Patidar, Sachin Baby, Suyesh Prabhudesai, and KS India while the rest of the players later joined the camp.

Royal Challengers Banglore said in a statement, “The remaining players will join the camp after completing the compulsory degree period of seven days”.

RCB players start their training

Royal challengers Banglore nine-day camp is being conducted under the guidance of Cricket Operations Director Mike Hewson and head coach Simon Katich.

Sanjay Bangar in the team, S. Sreedharan, Adam Griffith, Shankar Basu, and Malolan Rangarajan are the other members of the coaching staff.

Royal Challengers Banglore qualified for the playoffs last season, where they finished fourth. The team had been lost in the eliminator by Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets.
