A charity organization called Donatekart thanked the 31-year-old cricketer for the donation on social media. Donatekart tweeted, “Shreevats, thank you very much for your contribution of Rs 90,000 to provide oxygen supply in this time of need”

Goswami urged the people to help in whatever way possible in India’s fight against the dangerous second wave of the Coronavirus. Goswami second IPL player given a donation
Goswami is the second cricketer of IPL 2021 to donate to the Covid crisis in India after Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Pat Cummins. Cummins has given $ 50,000 to the PM-Cares fund to supply oxygen to Indian hospitals.
Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee followed his compatriot Cummins and donated 1 bitcoin to help him buy oxygen in hospitals in India.

3.79 lakh new cases occurred in the country
According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 379,257 new corona cases have come in the last 24 hours and 3645 infected people have lost their lives. However, 2,69,507 people have also recovered from Corona. Earlier on Tuesday, there were 360,960 new cases in the country.
