Three members of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp, who came to Delhi to play matches, have been tested covid positive.
Although no CSK player is tested positive, an employee other than team management and coaching staff has been found to be corona infected. The entire hotel in which the Chennai team is staying is being sanitized.
Meanwhile, RT-PCR tests of players are taking place. Apart from this, the practice session of the team has also been canceled. The Chennai Super Kings team present in Delhi is also awaiting the report of their players who came in contact with Varun Chakravarthy last month.
The team of Chennai Superkings was part of a safe environment in Mumbai from the bio-bubble, which also included Kolkata Knight Riders players.
Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan said that all the players of the Superkings who came in contact with Chakravarthy have been tested. KKR and Chennai Super Kings had a match in Mumbai on 21 April.
