Wasim Jaffer Expressed Displeasure Over RCB’s Batting Order

Former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer believes that Mahipal Lomror should not bat at No.3 for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023).

Jaffer pointed out that Lomror does not bat in the top three even in domestic cricket, and is better suited in the middle order.

Wasim Jaffer raised questions regarding the position of Mahipal Lomror

He said that the Bangalore-based side should try someone like Suyash Prabhudesai for the No.3 spot.

Wasim Jaffer said that “Mahipal Lomror does not bat at number 3 even for his state team. This is way above their level.

They are definitely missing Rajat Patiyar and that puts a lot of pressure on Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell.”

Suyash Prabhudesai should get a chance:-

According to Wasim Jaffer “Suyash Prabhudesai bats for Goa at the top of the order. He is probably one of those guys who can bat at number three, Anuj Rawat can also strike.

But they only have Indian players who haven’t worked out yet. But I think Suyash Prabhudesai is better batting at three than at six or seven.”
