A senior BCCI official told Sport, “Rishabh Pant just had this accident. His treatment is still going on.

It is too early to say anything now. Let him rest and wait for him to recover. Once he recovers, he will be sent for fitness test at NCA.

According to doctors, it may take six months for Pant to recover. The BCCI medical team is in touch with the doctors.”

Max Hospital doctor’s statement regarding Pant:-

Talking to the media, Dr. Ashish Yagnik, Medical Superintendent of Max Hospital Dehradun said that, Pant has not sustained any serious injuries and is stable.

Ashish Yagnik further said, “He is being evaluated and is being treated by a team of doctors. We can tell more only after some tests.

At present, his condition is stable and there is nothing to worry about. The team of doctors is talking to him and based on what he is telling about the injuries, he is being evaluated. Prima facie we have not found any serious injury. Orthopedic and plastic surgeon doctors are treating him.
