Marnus Labuschagne and Ashton: The first match of the five-match ODI series between South Africa and Australia was played at the Mangaung Oval Stadium in the capital Bloemfontein. In the match, Australia won the toss and decided to bowl first.
AUS vs SA: Temba scored a century :-
The Africa (SA vs Aus) didn’t get off to a good start with the team losing wickets from time to time. The team’s first wicket fell on 11 runs. Captain Temba Bavuma played an unbeaten inning of 114 runs in 142 balls with 14 fours and 1 six. He shared a 57-run partnership with Jansen for the sixth wicket. Apart from this, Temba added 37 runs for the third wicket with AK Markram and 37 runs for the tenth wicket with Lungi Ngidi.

In bowling, Josh Hazlewood took the maximum of three wickets for 41 runs in 10 overs for Australia. Marcus Stoinis took two wickets, Sean Abbott, Ashton Agar, Adam Zampa and Cameron Green took one wicket each. The South Africa set a target of 222 runs for Australia to win.
AUS vs SA: Australia’s bad start :-
Australia had a very bad start when they came to bat. The team had lost 6 wickets before completing 100 runs. Australia’s two batsmen David Warner and Cameron Green returned to the pavilion due to injury on 0 runs. Rabada bowled a bouncer, which went straight to Green’s ear. Due to this he could not bat and returned.
Labuschagne made record partnership with Ashton :-
After this, Marnus Labuschagne came to the crease, who led the team to victory by scoring 80 runs in 93 balls. Labuschagne scored a half-century hitting 8 fours and along with Ashton Agar added 112 runs for the eighth wicket. However, Ashton missed his half-century and scored 48 runs with 3 fours and 1 six.
In bowling, Kagiso Rabada and Gerald Coetzee took two wickets each. Apart from this, Marco Jensen, Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj took one wicket each.
