World Cup 2023: Netherlands has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 in India. The experienced pair of Van der Merwe and Colin Ackerman have been included in the team despite not performing well in the qualifiers. While the command of the team has been handed over to Scott Edwards.

Netherlands squad: All eyes on star opener Max O’Dowd and star all-rounder Bas de Leede
All eyes will also be on star opener Max Odode and star all-rounder Bas de Leede in the World Cup. The Netherlands is preparing well for the World Cup in India as the players, as expected, recently trained in Bengaluru before returning home. The players announced in the World Cup squad will now fly from India to Bengaluru around September 20 where they will have a camp ahead of the mega event.
Three practice matches against Karnataka
Apart from this, they also have to play three practice matches against Karnataka. Then practice matches against Australia on September 30, and host India on October 3. As far as the World Cup is concerned, their first match is scheduled. It will be against Pakistan in Hyderabad on 6th October.
