RCB management is disappointed to have lost a player to Josh’s calibration for this season of the IPL, but at the same time we fully understand, respect and support his decision to exclude himself from the tournament.

We had to select the next best option from the list of registered players for the IPL auction, at the same base price as Josh Philippe. We have spent a lot of time working through that potential list and have selected Finn Allen as the top-order batting replacement.- RCB Management
