Ross Taylor Last International Match: New Zealand’s legendary batsman Ross Taylor came on the field to play his last international match against the Netherlands.

In this ODI match, he played an innings of 14 runs in 16 balls. Taylor was in tears as the national anthem was played after the match.

Ross Taylor got teary-eyed in his eyes

On Monday, New Zealand’s swashbuckling batsman Ross Taylor got teary-eyed in his eyes. It was such a moment, that he could not stop himself. And he had come to play his last international match for the Kiwi team. When he came to play the last match of his career against the Netherlands, it was his 450th international match for the team. However, he could not make his farewell match memorable. He returned to the pavilion after scoring just 14 runs at Sudden Park.

Taylor’s name was written on that cap

Taylor was accompanied on the field by her three children—Mackenzie, Jonty, and Adelaide. Before the last match of the ODI series, everyone also sang the national anthem of New Zealand. All three of his children were also wearing the hats of the Kiwi team. Taylor’s name was written on that cap.

At the same time, he contributed 8602 runs in 220 innings of 236 ODIs. He scored 21 centuries in test cricket. He also played 102 T20 Internationals. In these matches, he scored 1909 runs at a strike rate of 122.37.
