Veteran keeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik stunned the internet fraternity as he confirmed his participation in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to be played in India from October.

Dinesh Karthik has done commentary in The Hundred 2023
DK will be attending the marquee tournament in a different role in the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup by donning the commentary cap. It should be noted that he has not played for the Indian cricket team since the 2022 T20 World Cup, where he failed to make an impact with his performances after making a spectacular comeback in IPL 2022.
Have covered two ICC World Test Championship (WTC) finals
Karthik has already covered two ICC World Test Championship (WTC) finals as a commentator, but this will be his first time as a commentator in the World Cup. Dinesh Karthik has left his mark with his commentary in ‘The Hundred’ which was in England. He also recently covered the Ashes 2023 and WTC 2023 finals in the UK.
