ICC ODI World Cup 2023: England became the first team in WC history to lose against all 11 Test-playing nations. The 13th match of the World Cup 2023 was played on 15 October between the England and Afghanistan cricket teams at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Afghanistan’s Warriors Gave A Solid Performance:-
In this match, Afghanistan’s warriors gave a solid performance and defeated the England team by 69 runs.

With this, an unwanted record has been registered in the name of England. England has become the first team in World Cup history to lose against all 11 Test-playing nations.
The England team had to face defeat against Australia in the first season of the World Cup (1975). After that, he had to face defeat against West Indies in the 1979 final.
He Also Had To Face Setbacks Against New Zealand:-
In 1983 and 1987, they suffered defeats at the hands of India and Pakistan respectively. Not only this, in 1983 he also had to face setbacks against New Zealand.
In the World Cup 2011, he had to suffer a setback against Bangladesh. Ireland had also defeated them in the same tournament.
Now they have also faced disappointment against Afghanistan in the ongoing tournament. With this, the English team has become the first team in the history of the World Cup to lose to all the Test teams.
We Did Not Play Our Best Cricket On The Field With Bat Or Ball:-
Adil Rashid did not give much importance to the defeat, saying, “It is part of cricket. You win some, you lose some. You cannot win every game and today, we lost just one game. We did not show our confidence with bat or ball. Not played on the best cricket ground.
Rashid said, “We are still confident; we are still supporting our players; our mindset is still positive.”
But England supporters are unlikely to share those sentiments until they see signs of improvement in Mumbai later this week.
