Harbhajan Singh, “After Yuvraj Singh, that search is finally complete”

Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh: Former off-spinner Harbhajan Singh believes that the Indian team has found a batsman who can play the role of Yuvraj Singh in the middle order in ODIs. Harbhajan Singh termed KL Rahul as a suitable alternative to Yuvraj Singh.

KL Rahul played a brilliant inning :-

According to Harbhajan Singh, Rahul understands the game well and knows when to attack or play defensive. Recall that Rahul played an unbeaten match-winning inning of 97 runs against Australia on Sunday.

The Indian team was chasing the target of 200 runs at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. At one time the host team had lost three wickets on the score of 2 runs. Then Rahul (97) and Virat Kohli (85) made a partnership of 165 runs for the fourth wicket and gave India a victory by 6 wickets.

Harbhajan Singh praised Rahul fiercely:-

KL Rahul played an incredible innings. After Yuvraj Singh, we finally got a batsman, who seems to be permanent at number 4 or 5. Rahul knows when to take a run or two and when to hit boundaries when the match is changing.

KL Rahul has performed well after his return. Last year was not good for him due to injuries and he remained out of the team. But the way he made a comeback, it is a great thing. I hope he remains fit because he is batting well. His defense is strong and plays strokes easily. It is fun to watch him bat.
