Gurbaz angry after being run out, Brook was England’s last ray of hope :-

Rahmanullah Gurbaz was very close to scoring a World Cup century but was completely disappointed after being run out by David Willey. Gurbaz, who was out on 80 runs, was angry and while returning to the pavilion, his bat fell on the boundary rope and a chair.

After this, Afghanistan could not make any big partnership and England all out Afghanistan for 284 runs on the last ball of the last over.

After this, England, who came to bat, kept losing their wickets at regular intervals. Harry Brook was the only one in the England team who kept the ray of hope alive but then Brook also could not understand Mujeeb’s carrom ball and lost his wicket. After this, Rashid Khan took the last two wickets and thus Afghanistan defeated England by 69 runs in the biggest upset in World Cup history.
