ICC ODI WC 2023: There will be no fireworks in India vs New Zealand semi-final? The first semi-final of the Cricket World Cup India vs New Zealand will be played on 15 November.

The entire nation wants India to avenge the 2019 semi-final defeat by defeating New Zealand and moving towards the title. There is no need to tell what will be the atmosphere in the country after such a historic victory, but pollution may spoil the celebration of this victory in Mumbai.

Actually, BCCI had decided that there would be no fireworks after the matches in Mumbai because of the pollution in the city. So will there not be fireworks in the semi-finals also?

It is common to have fireworks in big sports events, such a beautiful sight was seen in other stadiums during the Cricket World Cup 2023 too, but before the India vs Sri Lanka match, BCCI had said that in view of the danger of pollution in the city. It has been decided not to do fireworks at Wankhede and Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Australia And New Zealand Made It To The Semi-Finals:-

The journey of the Cricket World Cup started on 5 October and is now nearing its end. Along with India, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand have made it to the semi-finals.

India stood first and New Zealand stood fourth, hence both will face each other in the semi-finals. The second semi-final will be held between South Africa and Australia on November 16 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

There will be fireworks at Eden Gardens but even if India wins the semi-final, there will be no fireworks in the stadium, if BCCI sticks to the same decision.

According to the AQICN website, the air quality index in Mumbai on Wednesday 15 November will be between 140 to 160. However, it is not just about this day, the condition of pollution has remained the same in the city for the last several days. Keeping this in view, BCCI has taken a commendable step that fireworks will not be done in the matches to be held here.

India’s Winning Chariot Won All The Matches in The League Stage:-

India’s World Cup journey has been brilliant under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. It made a great start by defeating Australia in the first match.

The team did face some problems in that match but after that. The team did not appear under pressure in any match and won all the matches unilaterally.
