IND vs AUS, 1st ODI: Olympic champion wife’s husband’s flop show, failed in debut match

IND vs AUS, 1st ODI: The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia is being played in Mohali. India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Matthew Short got a chance to debut for Australia. Alex Carey gave him his debut cap. In the first match, he became Shami’s victim by scoring only 2 runs.

Short made his debut against South Africa this year :-

Australia’s rising batsman Matthew Shott made his T20 debut in 2023 against South Africa. He has played three T-20 matches for Australia. In the series against India, he has been given a place in the team in place of injured Glenn Maxwell.

He can also bowl off break with his right hand. Matthew Shott played for Punjab Kings in the 2023 IPL season. Apart from this, he has also scored a lot of runs with his bat in the Big Bash League.

Married to Olympic champion Madi Wilson :-

He got a chance to debut in the first ODI against India. However, the debut match was lackluster. Matthew Short came into everyone’s attention during the Under-19 World Cup in 2014. He had scored 237 runs in 6 matches for Australia. Matthew Short is married to Madison Wilson. She is a swimmer, and has also won gold medals for Australia in the 2010 and 2020 Olympics.

IND vs AUS, 1st ODI: Australia scored 276 runs :-

Let us tell you that Australia batted first and scored 276 runs. David Warner scored a half-century. Steve Smith played an inning of 41 runs and Josh Inglis played an inning of 45 runs. For India, Shami took five wickets, while Bumrah, Ashwin and Jadeja got one wicket each.
