Before the India vs Bangladesh match, Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusingha has given a big update regarding Shakib’s injury. He revealed this in the pre-match press conference and discussed about the upcoming match.

Shakib recently had to struggle with a thigh injury. Due to this, questions are being raised about his availability in the India vs Bangladesh match.

However, before the match, Shakib was also seen practicing in the nets. Shakib batted for a long time in the practice session. He also did good running between the wickets.

When Asked About Shakib’s Update, He Said:-

When asked about Shakib’s update, the coach said, “He batted well yesterday and ran a bit between the wickets.

We did the scan yesterday, so we are waiting for the results. At present he is fine. We have not attempted bowling yet. That is why he will come tomorrow morning and we will take a decision after re-assessing him.”

If Shakib is not able to recover completely then the team does not want to take any risk. Head coach Chandika said, “We will not risk him if he is not ready to play. But if he is ready then there is a possibility of him playing tomorrow.”
