Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar: The 17th match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is being played between India and Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Batting first in this match, Bangladesh team scored 256 runs. In response to this, while chasing the target, the openers of the Indian team made a wonderful start.

Half-century innings of Gill :-

Shubman Gill was out after scoring a half-century while captain Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 48 runs. Sara Tendulkar, daughter of great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, was seen arriving to support Shubman Gill in the match.

Actually, Shubman Gill hit a four on the second ball of the 7th over of the innings bowled by Hasan. Seeing this four, Sara Tendulkar, sitting in the stands along with the fans, jumped with joy.

She was seen clapping loudly after seeing Gill’s boundary. After this, he also supported and cheered Gill by clapping in the 10th over of the innings, in which he hit two sixes against Nasum Ahmed.

Shubman Gill’s first fifty in ODI World Cup :-

Let us tell you that while chasing the target, there was a partnership of 88 runs between Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma on behalf of Team India. This partnership broke in the 13th over when Rohit was dismissed. Rohit played an inning of 48 runs in 40 balls, which included 7 fours and 2 sixes.

Gill also returned to the pavilion in the 20th over, he was caught by Mehdi Hasan Miraj at the hands of Mahmudullah. Gill faced 55 balls and scored 55 runs. He scored the 10th half-century of his ODI career; while this was his first fifty in the first ODI World Cup.
