IND vs ENG: The magic of Indian bowlers was at its peak against England in the ICC World Cup 2023. While Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami created havoc with their pace, the remaining work was done by the spinning balls of Kuldeep Yadav. Chasing the target of 230 runs, the entire England team ended up scoring just 129 runs.

IND vs ENG: For the first time since 1993, Indian bowlers did this big feat

This happened for the first time after 1993 :-

In fact, the Indian bowlers showed the way to the pavilion by clean bowling six batsmen of the English team. India has achieved this feat for the third time in the history of ODI cricket. Earlier in the year 1993, Indian bowlers had bowled out six West Indies batsmen and sent them to the pavilion. At the same time, for the first time this feat was done by Indian bowlers against Sri Lanka in Sharjah in 1986.

The magic of Mohammed Shami and Bumrah :-

None of the England batsmen could find any answer to Mohammed Shami’s fiery balls. Shami wreaked havoc, taking four wickets while conceding only 22 runs in his seven-over spell. Shami sent Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid to the pavilion. Bairstow, Stokes and Adil were clean bowled by Shami.

Jasprit Bumrah continued his excellent form against England in the ICC World Cup 2023. Bumrah bowled brilliantly and showed the way to the pavilion to David Malan and Joe Root on two consecutive balls. Root was dismissed by Bumrah for a golden duck. The Indian fast bowler took three wickets while conceding 32 runs in his 6.5 over spell.
