ICC ODI World Cup 2023: New Zealand’s media is not able to digest the defeat against India. The first semi-final match of the World Cup 2023 was played between India and New Zealand on 15 November at the Wankhede Stadium.

Virat Kohli And Shreyas Iyer Had Scored Centuries:-

In this match, the Indian team was successful in getting a ticket to the final by winning a big victory by 70 runs. Indian players were in good form during the match.

For the blue team, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer scored centuries. Whereas Mohammed Shami bowled well and took a total of seven wickets. For which he was selected as ‘Player of the Match’.

A Lot Of Attention is Being Given To The India vs New Zealand Match:-

It seems that New Zealand’s media houses are not able to digest the defeat in the semi-final match. There, a lot of attention is being given to the India vs New Zealand match.

Before the match, it was told that the pitch on which the match was to be played was changed shortly before the start of the match.

The Semi-Final Match Was To Be Played On A New Pitch:-

It has been reported by New Zealand media houses that, ‘The semi-final match between India and New Zealand was to be played on a new pitch.

But the match took place on a pitch where two matches had already been played.’ After this, a new controversy started regarding the ground.

New Zealand’s news website, while highlighting an ICC statement on this controversy, has written, ‘The ICC has said in a statement that the pitches have been changed throughout the tournament and they were aware of the changes that took place during the semi-finals. The change of pitch is being done for the benefit of the home team.
