After the defeat against England yesterday, Pakistan’s dream of playing the semi-finals against India has also been dashed.

Even though Pakistan is out of the race for the semi-finals, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has given a shock to Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

Shaheen is Fourth in Taking The Most Wickets:-

Shaheen Shah Afridi has left Mohammed Shami behind in terms of taking the most wickets in this World Cup. Shaheen had taken 2 wickets in the match against England yesterday.

With this, Shaheen now has 18 wickets in his name in 9 matches of the World Cup. He is fourth in the list of bowlers taking most wickets.

However, now that Pakistan is out of the World Cup, Shaheen’s wickets will remain only 18. On the other hand, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami is the highest wicket-taker for India. He has 16 wickets in his name so far.

Shami Will Again Be Ahead Of Shaheen:-

Before the match against England, Shaheen also had only 16 wickets, but he left Mohammed Shami behind by taking 2 wickets against England. Shami has now reached the sixth position in the list of taking the most wickets.

However, it is worth noting that Shami has 16 wickets in his name in only 4 matches. Shaheen had taken 18 wickets in his name after playing 9 matches.
