ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Pakistan’s Rizwan’s innings of 131 runs and Shafique’s 113 runs were included in the World Cup 2023. Pakistan team has created history in the ODI World Cup.

He Made A Big Record in The History Of The World Cup:-

In the eighth match of the World Cup played at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Pakistan achieved the target of 345 runs and defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets. With this, he made a big record in the history of the World Cup.

Pakistan achieved the target of 345 runs, the highest ever in a World Cup, with six wickets to spare.

Their game was led by Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan, who made it two wins out of two for Pakistan, riding on a pair of centuries from Kusal Mendis and Sadira Samarawickrama.

Pakistan Became The World’s Number 1 Team in Run Chasing in The WC:-

Pakistan has become the number one team in the world to chase the biggest run in the ODI World Cup. The target of more than 300 runs was achieved in only a few times in 13 editions of the ODI World Cup.

Earlier, the record of chasing the highest number of runs in the history of the ODI World Cup was held by Ireland.

He chased 329 against England during the 2011 World Cup in India. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are also included in the top list. Both teams have achieved this feat twice.

Abdullah Shafique’s 113 and Mohammad Rizwan’s unbeaten 131 runs were included in this run chase of Pakistan.

There Was A Partnership Of 176 Runs Between The Two Batsmen:-

Both the batsmen took control of the team when Pakistan had lost 2 wickets in 7.2 overs. After this there was a partnership of 176 runs between the two batsmen.

Shafique was out in the 34th over after completing his century, but Rizwan kept the innings under control from the other end.
