This is the reason why the picture of the Indian team’s semi-final match is not clear yet. The New Zealand team is facing Sri Lanka on Thursday. New Zealand had a target of 172 in this match.

Pakistan’s Path To The Semi-Finals Appears To Be Difficult:-

New Zealand had to achieve this target before 35 overs, but New Zealand achieved this target in 23.2 overs only, due to which Pakistan’s path to the semi-finals seems to be difficult.

Pakistan has to play its last match against England on 11 November. Even if Pakistan wins this match, it will still be eliminated. He will have to win in such a way that he comes ahead of New Zealand in net run rate.

On the other hand, Afghanistan has to face South Africa in the last match on 10th November. If Afghanistan loses then it is certain to be out, but if it wins then three teams can reach 10-10 points with 5-5 wins. In such a situation, New Zealand has the upper hand because its net run rate is the best.

That means, it will be decided only on Saturday, 11th November, who India will face in the semi-finals. Team India will play its last league match against the Netherlands on 12 November.
