ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Bad luck is not leaving Pakistan in World Cup 2023, a star player got injured. World Cup 2023 is not going well at all from Pakistan’s point of view. The team was struggling with poor performance in the tournament. Now players have also started getting injured.

The Tournament Was Played Between Bangladesh And Pakistan in Kolkata:-

The 31st match of the tournament was played between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Kolkata. In this match, Usama Mir got injured while fielding and meanwhile, his hand also started bleeding.

Actually, it was seen in Shaheen Afridi’s over. Afridi was bowling the seventh over of the innings. Opposition opener Liton Das played the fourth ball of this over towards short mid-wicket.

The Blood Was Also Seen Flowing From His Hand:-

Here Usama Mir caught the ball while diving. He was successful in catching the ball but injured his finger. Meanwhile, blood was also seen flowing from his hand.

The situation was such that he had to leave the field immediately. He was treated here. When it seemed that he could enter the field again, he made a comeback.

Earlier, team vice-captain Shadab Khan was injured in the match played against South Africa. Khan was injured in the neck and shoulder. After which Usama Mir entered the field as a concussion player.

Salman Agha And Usama Mir Have Been Included in The Playing Eleven:-

The Pakistani team has entered the field against Bangladesh with three major changes. Imam ul Haq, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Nawaz are out of the match, while Fakhar Zaman, Salman Aga, and Usama Mir have been included in the playing eleven.

Irfan Pathan tweeted and wrote- “Pakistan needed to play aggressively while playing against Bangladesh, which was weak due to self-confidence. He did this work very well. Shaheen should have got the Man of the Match award.”

After Fakhar’s dismissal, Mohammad Rizwan scored 26 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 17 runs and gave their team victory in the 33rd over. After this victory, the Pakistan team reached the fifth position in the points table with 6 points.
