ICC ODI WC 2023: Virat Kohli reached Mumbai before the World Cup but did not travel with the team. The Indian team is all set to play its second practice match to prepare for the Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Second Place After Sri Lanka in The Qualifier Event:-

The Men in Blue will face the Netherlands, who booked their fifth World Cup berth after finishing second behind Sri Lanka in the qualifier event, at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

However, India may miss the services of its former Indian captain Virat Kohli for the match.

According to a report by Cricbuzz, Team India reached Thiruvananthapuram from Guwahati after a four-hour journey by a special flight on Sunday evening, but Kohli was not a part of the group.

The Requested Leave From Team Management Due To Emergency:-

The experienced No. 3 batsman requested leave from the team management due to a personal emergency and hence flew back to Mumbai from Guwahati.

Virat Kohli may not have reached Thiruvananthapuram with Team India, but according to the report of Cricbuzz, he will join the team before the match.

The Weather in Thiruvananthapuram Says Something Else:-

While India would be hoping for some cricket action in its final practice match on Tuesday, the weather in Thiruvananthapuram says otherwise.

The chance of rain is 96 percent and the chance of a storm is 46 percent. So far, three practice matches have been affected due to rain, two of which were played in Thiruvananthapuram.
