T20 World Cup Format

In the first phase, 12 matches are being played between 8 teams. Each team will play a 1-1 match with the other 2 teams in their group i.e. each team will play 3 matches in the first leg. After all the matches are over, the top 2 teams in the group (from each group) will enter the Super 12. At present, there are 8 teams in Super 12. Four teams will qualify for the first stage, while the last four teams in the table will lose their dream of winning the World Cup.
