Lea Tahuhu and Eve Jones will make surprise returns to the WBBL

Lee Tahuhu and Eve Jones will make a surprise comeback this weekend after signing Webber as overseas replacement players in the WBBL.

Due to international commitments and domestic board requirements, the Thunder and Renegades have sought to replace foreign players for the start of the season.

Tahuhu, a veteran of the White Ferns, played for the Melbourne Renegades from 2016-20. Lime Green will replace Amy Jones for the Thunder’s opening match on Friday.

Renegades meanwhile replaces overseas for Harmanpreet Kaur-

Renegades have meanwhile hired English batsman Eve Jones as an overseas replacement for Harmanpreet Kaur, who will miss the Renegades’ first two matches as she captains India in the Asia Cup final.
