With this, Marsh is also out of the match against England (AUS vs ENG). Marsh has left for Perth and will not play in the match against England in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

This has come to light after Glenn Maxwell has been ruled out of the competition after suffering an injury during the golf day on Monday.
Cricket Australia confirmed in a statement on Thursday that Marsh had flown home on Wednesday night.
Mitchell Returned Home Late Last Night Due To Personal Reasons:-
“Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh returned home from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 late last night due to personal reasons,” the statement said.
“The time-limit of his return to the team is to be confirmed. No further description will be provided at this time.”
Marcus Stoinis is likely to be fit to make the squad after recovering from a minor shin problem that has kept him out of the last two matches against the Netherlands and New Zealand, but Cameron Green is also set to return. While Marnus Labuschagne’s return is certain.
Abbott And Carey Are The Only Other Players Available in The Team:-
To remain in the middle order. Australia will have only 13 fit players for the clash with England, with Sean Abbott and Alex Carey being the only other players available in the squad.
Marsh’s absence will also mean that Steve Smith will bat at his preferred position of number 3.

But this is a big blow to Australia’s balance as its two most explosive players, Mitchell and Maxwell, will not play in the match against England as they try to secure a place in the semi-finals.
