MS Dhoni earns a massive amount of his money through brand deals and signed a multi-crore deal with online gaming company Garena to endorse its mobile game Free Fire, which is one of the most popular online games in the world.

Free Fire is making a comeback in India on September 5. Garena has decided to partner with some of the most renowned sportspersons to spread its popularity, such as Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Saina Nehwal, Sunit Chhetri, and Leander Paes.

Garena unveiled that MS Dhoni will be the new brand ambassador of Free Fire India, and will be the first Indian sportsperson to be featured in the game as a playable character – Thala. This character will also be featured in the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC), announced by Garena.

Garena is the Singapore gaming company behind Free Fire India. The Game has also emerged as a top mobile gaming company in the entire world, having a whopping market cap of USD 21 billion. This comes out to Rs 1.73 lakh crore in Indian currency.
