Many former cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, and Ravi Shastri are going to participate in this program. A large number of people reached the site and there are strong security arrangements.

BCCI will spend Rs 330 crore on the construction of the stadium

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has spent Rs 121 crore on land acquisition for the construction of an international cricket stadium in Varanasi. Apart from this, BCCI will spend Rs 330 crore on the construction of the stadium.

The design of the stadium that has been revealed is very beautiful and the thematic architecture takes inspiration from Lord Shiva, which includes a crescent-shaped roof covering, trident-shaped floodlights, seating arrangement based on ghat stairs, and Bilvipatra-shaped metal sculpture on the façade. Designs of sheets have been developed. The capacity of the stadium will be 30,000 spectators.
