Varanasi Cricket Stadium PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the international cricket stadium being built in Varanasi on 23 September. Varanasi is considered the city of Lord Shiva, hence the form of the stadium will also be like that of Lord Shiva. The design released by the district administration on Tuesday includes the shapes of Damru, Trishul, Belpatra, and Ganga Ghat.

Varanasi Cricket Stadium- The construction of the stadium will cost Rs 330 crore

The roof of the stadium will be like a half-moon, the shape of the floodlight stand will be like a trident. The entrance and lounge of the stadium will be in the form of Damru. The outer part will be decorated with Belpatra made of metal, which is very dear to Lord Shankar. This stadium will be built on 30.60 acres of land. The construction of this stadium will cost Rs 330 crore. There will be seven pitches in the stadium. There will be seating arrangements for 30,000 people here. The stadium will be ready in 30 months.

Sachin and Gavaskar will also be included

Veteran cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Ravi Shastri will also participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony to be held on 23 September. BCCI President Roger Binny, Vice President Rajeev Shukla, and Secretary Jai Shah will also be present. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur can also come to Varanasi on this occasion. Local cricketers and players have also been invited.
